The Old Western Hockey League Site

It's an excellent source of information on the Western Hockey League.

The Unofficial Old CHL Site

This site is about the old CHL, which hosted the Colorado Flames and the last minor-pro Spurs team.  It's a wonderful resource for all the old CHL teams.

The San Diego Gulls WHL Page

This site is all about the WHL San Diego Gulls.  It also has stuff about the IHL and WCHL Gulls.  Very good job on this one.

The Germs Hockey Team

This is a great site of a Colorado rec-league team that has the logo of the legendary punk band The Germs.  No Yuppie stuff here.  Check out the injuries section.

I've finished all the minor-professional teams up to and including the Denver Grizzlies.  WHEW!!!  Next up, even though I said I wouldn't, is the Colorado Rockies.  I'll be done with this eventually.

This page proudly supports Colorado's own CHL franchise, The Colorado Eagles.  The Eagles will begin play just 46.3 miles from Denver starting in October of 2003.  The new arena is presently being built at Crossroads Boulevard and I-25 just east of Loveland, Colorado and will be named after Budweiser Beer.

Recently this site made news....
While on the 40 bus, which takes me to my job in Commerce City, the morning of August 24, 2000, I noticed a hockey question in the "Wacky Questions" section of the comics in the Rocky Mountain News.  I had been having a very trying week at work, a place that often fails to reward a job well-done, and really appreciated the good word.  So thank you RMN for the kind remark.   I appreciate it.

Part of "Puck Fever" Article

This site made news again.  A copy editor, Mark Christopher, for the Rocky Mountain News has been writing short articles celebrating the nooks and crannies of hockey in this state for the past week.  He mentioned my little website here today (Saturday February 3, 2001) in his "Puck Fever" article.  Thanks for the mention Mark and RMN, once again, I appreciate the kind words.
